New Year: Arapaja Felicitates With Residents

A former deputy governor of Oyo state and former Ambassador to Jordan and Iraq, Hon. Taofeek oladejo Arapaja has congratulated the people of Oyo state on the beginning of a new year.

Arapaja in his new year message noted that “despite the challenges in 2020, we are grateful we could overcome and make it to the new year.”

He urged residents to embrace love and peaceful coexistence noting that it is important for residents to always follow the COVID-19 protocols as mandated by NCDC in the fight against the novel disease.

“Though this time is a time we should celebrate but we should do so in moderation and continue to pray for the State, the nation and the world at large.”

He also urged residents to keep supporting Engr. Seyi Makinde in his quest to take Oyo state to greater heights.

“As we are getting ready to welcome a New Year, let’s be optimistic the year 2021 will be one with great opportunities and possibilities. Let us work harder and strive for the better Oyo state,”he added.
