People within and around Oyo town will not need to disturb themselves sorting issues relating to immigration as Dr. Yunus Akintunde, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, senatorial candidate for Oyo central, has assisted the ongoing work on the New Passport Office with N3,000,000.
The Oyo-born politician made the donation following by the Oyo Metropolitan Development Association, the apex socio-cultural group for Oyo indigenes both home and abroad.
Akintunde’s gesture has elicited response from the leadership of the socio-cultural group and the New Passport Office at Apitipiti area of Oyo East,
The new passport and immigration office in Oyo is expected to take off anytime from now.
The former commissioner also, after observing Jumah service at Ilora Central Mosque, where his friend is Chief Imam, promised to complete the tiling of the Mosque. Akintunde had recently graded roads within and around the Mosque.
It would be recalled that four months ago, Akintunde donated for the use of the community a new transformer.
