Adeoye, who is the chairman of HMF construction  limited, said he received the news of the Mufasir’s death with disbelief but added that “as Muslims, we are consoled by the fact that he lived a life worthy of emulation.

”Apart from the fact that he was scholarly, he contributed, in no small way, to the growth of Islam in Oyo and beyond.

“He was a man of peace and I am sure, we are missing him already. It is a great loss for Oyo, Islam and the entire humanity. But like I have said earlier, every human will taste death at the appointed time. The only thing we should be concerned about is good deeds.

“It is not the number of years one used on the earth surface but the impacts one is able to make. We pray almighty Allah grant him aljannah firdaus.”
