Makinde’s Appointees Suffering In Silence’ – Oloko Alleges Commissioner Sold Car To Pay Child’s Fees

A prominent political commentator, Mogaji Abass Oloko, has claimed that a serving two-term commissioner in Governor Seyi Makinde’s government sold his official car to fund the education of one of his children.

Oloko made the revelation in a podcast interview hosted by Dare Adekanmbi and published on YouTube @opeforum360 on Sunday.

The Mogaji, who chose to protect the name of the serving commissioner, said most of the appointees in Makinde’s government are suffering in silence and living in terrible condition.

He said the child of the commissioner secured admission in a university in Ghana where tuition fee was not a burden and yet the appointee had to sell off his official car to be able to pay.

He claimed that most of the appointees still defending the policies and programmes of Governor Makinde are not doing so with joy, but with sadness and pain in their hearts.

According to him, apart from those who have resigned from the government, majority of those remaining are just bidding time, looking for the appropriate time to abandon the ship.
