Erudite Millennium Ltd, according to Mr. Saheed Oladele, its founder and chief executive, “is one-of-a-kind educational institute in Africa which has trained teachers in over 200 schools in Nigeria and has built a vibrant community of young scholars and leaders. We produced the best SAT result in Nigeria in 2021 (800/800 in SAT mathematics). One of our students also emerged the only Nigerian to win the SIUE Meridian Scholarship in the United States of America in 2022. Additionally, many Erudite students are currently making Nigeria proud in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, et cetera.
“Our concern about the future of education is not accidental as we have been agitating for the practical teaching of oral English in Nigeria and updating the Nigerian school curriculum for a decade. You will recall that we launched Remedial English Pronunciation Software (REPS) in 2014 at Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan to correct the irony of teaching oral English on boards and testing it on paper. REP-Software received the immediate approval and recommendation of the Federal Ministry of Education and the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council after due assessments. Using the Erudite @10 opportunity, on Saturday 10th of December 2022, we will be unveiling another book titled New Dimensions in English for Up-to-Date Communication.
“The book is aimed at updating UTME, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and NTI English language syllabuses and improving the general use of English in Nigeria. English Language as a medium of instruction in our schools keeps evolving and therefore requires a dynamic curriculum,” the UI graduate explained.
