Makinde, Arapaja, Sunmonu To Storm Oyo For Controversial Coronation of New Obas

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, to be represented by his deputy, Bayo Lawal, will attend the coronation of new Obas in Oyo town on Friday, OYOINSIGHT.COM can report.

The coronation of newly approved Obas for crown wearing status is a controversial move by the state government that has generated criticism and prompted a lawsuit from the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade.

In a note signed by the Director General (Protocol) to the Governor, top government functionaries expected at the event include:
