Yunus Akintunde, senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo central, has congratulated Chief Abiodun Kolawole Ahmadu, an engineer and chairman of Ahmak Group Limited, as he clocks 70 today.
Ahmak, as the celebrant is fondly called, hails from Oyo town like Akintunde.
In a statement in Oyo, Akintunde, who has a Ph.D from the University of Ibadan, said it is awesome Ahmak is reaching the milestone age of 70, adding that every aspiring young men should study his life and growth.
Saying that life begins at 70, the former commissioner for works in the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi said he was happy to join family and friends to celebrate the consummate businessman and contractor at 70.
“Let me join family, friends and associates to celebrate this man of many parts as he reaches 70. This is a man we have all continued to study, though unknown to him. He’s older than us but we haven’t stopped following his progress.
“He is a man we all looked up when growing up. For many decades, he’s been around, putting his hands in projects many dare not undertake. He is a risk taker and avid investor. I want to say God has been wonderful to him.
“Life begins at 70. And as you reach this milestone, I pray God continue to be with you and all that is yours. May you never know a better yesterday. Your best years have started Sir,” Akintunde added.
