Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (SOLAN), Oyo State ADC governorship candidate, has congratulated former Oyo State governor, Senator Rasidi Ladoja, on his discharge and acquittal by the Federal High Court, Lagos, over the N4.7billion case instituted against him, and Mr. Waheed Akanbi, former Oyo State finance commissioner, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Lanlehin made this known in a statement by ‘Damola Adeoye, his media assistant.
Recall, that in discharging and acquitting the duo, the trial judge, Justice Mohammed Idris, held that the evidence adduced by the Commission was “too low on credible evidence.”
On the strength of the learned judge’s submission, Lanlehin believes that Ladoja’s integrity has been further advertised, and the orchestrators of the spurious litigation, ostensibly for political motives, put to perpetual shame.
Senator Lanlehin, therefore, congratulates the Osi Olubadan on this victory over witch hunt, base politics and unfounded allegations, urging him to continue to dedicate his life to the advancement of humanity and promotion of welfarism.
