Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Engr Seyi Makinde, has won the governorship election in Oyo State.
Makinde polled 515,621 to defeat his closest rival, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who polled 357982.
