Lanlehin, Adelabu Greet Christians At Easter

Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (SOLAN), has felicitated with the good people of Oyo State, especially the Christian faithful, on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebrations.

Lanlehin, Oyo State leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), rejoices with Engr Seyi Makinde, Oyo State Governor-elect, Chief Michael Koleosho, Chief Layiwola Olakojo, Dr Adebisi Busari, as well as Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, Senator Gbenga Babalola, Barrister Bayo Lawal, Hon Wale Adegoke, Hon Gbenga Oyekola, Hon Nureni Adisa and Arch. Bashiru Lawal, wishing them all, happy Easter holidays.

In like manner, Senator Lanlehin extends his Easter greetings to national officers of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), led by Chief Ralph Nwosu, National Chairman, Dr Dele Ajadi, National Vice Chairman (Southwest), Alh Said Abdullahi, National Secretary, and Mrs Yemi Kolapo, National Publicity Secretary, as well as Rev Ezekiel Adeniran, Acting State Chairman, Alh Wasiu Emiola, State Secretary, and all officers of the party in Oyo State.

Lanlehin, who recalled that Easter represents Christ’s redemptive work, supreme sacrifice, and never ending love for humanity, called on Christians, and all Nigerians to emulate Christ, whose humility, love, and forgiveness, endeared Him to many not only during His earthly ministry, but also several centuries after.

Easter, the highpoint of which is Christ’s resurrection, is in fact, the hallmark of the Christian faith, and its most important feast; an occasion Lanlehin prays will transform the people’s lives through the resurrection power.

Lanlehin equally felicitates with the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso I, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III, all royal fathers in the state, including all Mogajis and Baales in Ibadanland, wishing them all very happy Easter celebrations.

While urging Christians in the state, and indeed all Nigerians to continue living in peace, he encourages them to continue praying fervently for the peace and prosperity of Nigeria in general, and that of Oyo State in particular.

 

Adelabu Felicitates With Christians At Easter

The Agbaakin Parakoyi of Ibadan Land and gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the March 9, 2019 election in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebrations.

Adelabu in a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan by his media aide, Dr. Bayo Busari called for rededication from Nigerians, especially the people of Oyo State to make Nigeria a better place for all and sundry.

According to the statement, Jesus Christ paid the sacrifice for humanity out of complete obedience to the will of the Almighty God.

“We have to learn the spirit of brotherhood, selflessness and humility from the way Jesus Christ lived his life.

“Our nation and Oyo State need men and women who are committed to the service of humanity for us to have an environment that will bring out the potential in all of us.

“The task ahead requires the support of all Nigerians irrespective of religious and ethnic leaning for the government of President Muhammadu Buhari to succeed in its effort to drive Nigeria to the promised land,” the statement said.

Adelabu charged the Christian community in Oyo State to continue to work to sustain the prevalent peaceful atmosphere, which the incumbent administration has established since coming into power.
