Former governor Rashidi Ladoja was absent as ‘Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State presented staff office to elevated Ibadan high chiefs who are now kings.
OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that Ladoja, Otun Olubadan of Ibadan, has been opposed to the tinkering of the Ibadan chieftaincy declaration by the administrations of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi and incumbent Makinde.
Inside sources close to Ladoja hinted that he may head to court over the development.
Another source who did not want name mentioned said that the old man would wait till he reaches his turn to take action.
Ladoja, this newspaper recalled, had last week, decanted that he has no interest in becoming a beaded crown-wearing Oba, saying his only ambition is to become the Olubadan and nothing else.
