It is with a deep sense of loss but also gratitude to God Almighty that we announce the passing of Chief Moses Akano Ogunmola, the Otun of Oyo Land. Chief Ogunmola, aged 95, breathed his last this morning at a hospital in Ibadan. We are bidding farewell to a man whose life was a demonstration of leadership, wisdom, and remarkable accomplishments for himself and his community.

His departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of everyone who knew him and the Oyo community he served with unwavering dedication.
