While addressing a press conference on Thursday, the owner of the Restaurant, Bar and Grill, stated that the club would be rounding off the year on a celebration note with the presence of a Fuji Maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde Mayegun.

Speaking on the rationale behind the mega party, he noted that there is a need for people to have a moment of relaxation and fun, having gone through challenging times in the year, adding that participants will also have the opportunity to meet and network with people from all walks of life at the event.

Asiwaju said: “King Wasiu Ayinde is a legend in the Nigerian music industry, we need him in Ibadan. Bringing him here will help put Ibadan on radar. Ibadan is not a village, it is a mega city,

“There are two reasons why we are organising this mega party. One is to drive traffic to Ibadan. I can tell you that some people would visit Ibadan because of this legendary musician that has his massive followers. People would want to come from far and wide to witness the event, experience the party and Ibadan too as a whole. There is no how you will come for a party such as this and not want to explore the city as well. So, that was why I decided to be having this mega party every year with the same musician.

“Another reason is to always create a particular moment for ourselves. It is not about splashing out or spending crazily but about treating ourselves well and giving our body what it deserves as we have all worked from January to December.

“The mega party will also enable you meet people, exchange numbers and do some networkings with people that will be attending. And if you look at this year in particular, we cannot just wait to let it go, and I pray that next year will be a better year that we will reap all what we have sown. Despite the ups and downs this year, I believe we should have a moment to relax with friends and families. So, that is why I feel we should be experiencing this every year.”

At the event, Sliver Table will go for N300, 000, while Gold Table is put at N600,000. The price for Platinum Table is N1m and King’s row Table is for N1.5million
