Various officials of the Oyo State joint security force, Operation Burst have been deployed to Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan to beef up security as the governing council of the institution meets.
OYOINSIGHT had on Wednesday morning reported that the council is set to meet today to deliberate on issues in a letter from the Education Minister, Adamu Adamu .
This newspaper also reported that a new election for Senate representative members is set to hold today.
“The management has invited soldiers to the place. JAC has mobilized to the place and the place is now rowdy. The soldiers ate threatening to shoot the staff, ” a staff member of the institution told this newspaper anonymously this afternoon.
