JUST IN: Police Rescue Adelabu’s Sister, Kids From Kidnappers

Officials of the Nigeria Police Force have rescued Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the sister of a former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and her 12-year-old twin from kidnappers.

Recall that the trio were kidnapped in Ibadan on June 3.

However, they were rescued at about 7:30pm on Saturday after a heavy gun duel with between police operatives and their abductors.

At two of the suspected kidnappers were neutralised during the gun duel, while others escaped with gunshot wounds.
