The three groups within the Oyo State chapter of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, are currently in a meeting with former president Olusegun Obasanjo and leaders of the party led by Chief Ralph Nwosu at The Presidential Library, Abeokuta.
Crisis had brewed last week following the alleged domineering tendencies of factions loyal to former governor Rashidi Ladoja and Chief Michael Koleoso.
Loyalists of the two politicians had dominated the list of state executives of the party, an action which made the Unity Forum issued a 72-hour ultimatum.
At the ongoing meeting are representatives of the legacy party members, Unity Forum and Ladoja as well as other major stakeholders in the alliance.
OYO INSIGHT was told that the warring factions have agreed to reach a compromise in a bid to be united towards the forthcoming elections in the state.
If the eport from the ongoing meeting is anything to go by, the warring groups have agreed to sheath their swords.
