JUST IN: Makinde Appoints Ex-ADC Guber Aspirant SUBEB Chair, Adeleke As Revenue Board Boss

Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of Dr Nureni Adeniran as the chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, and Aremo John Adeleke as the chairman of the Oyo State Board of Internal Revenue.
The appointments were confirmed in a letter dated 24th June, 2019 and given to them yesterday by the governor’s chief of staff, Chief Bisi Ilaka.
Adeniran, a former gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP after the ADC picked Sen. Olufemi Lanlehin as its candidate in the just concluded election. He was chairman of Ibadan South West local government and former commissioner under the administration of former governor Rashidi Ladoja.
Adeleke, on the other hand, hails from Eruwa, headquarters of Ibarapa East local government.
