JUST IN: Buhari Appoints Okeogun-born UI Professor As Nigerian French Language Director

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Prof. Lateef Babatunde Ayeleru as the Director/ Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry, Lagos, with effect from 10th January, 2020.

Ayeleru, a Professor of French, Applied Linguistics & African Literatures at the University of Ibadan, will hold office for five years.

The President enjoined the Ijio, Iwajowa local government-born Ayeleru to bring his wealth of experience and expertise to reposition and reinvigorate the organisation.

He also charged him to discharge his responsibilities with utmost sense of commitment to enhancing the study of French Language in the country.
