JUST IN: Asoleke, Head Of Ibadan Masquerades, Dies

The Head Of Masquerades in Ibadanland, Chief Ojetunde Akinleye Asoleke is dead.
Asoleke, according to Opera News, passed away Monday Morning at Ajia his village in Ona-Ara Local Government Area of Oyo state during the Egungun festival.
Though he was said to have been sick, but as the Head of Masquerades, he attended the festival. 
He will be buried at his Amuloko residence.
Other details about Chief Asoleke’s burial arrangements were sketchy as at press time.
Though Chief Asoleke was a Muslim by birth but as the head of Masquerades, traditionalists may take charge of his burial.
