JUST IN: Arapaja Returns N36m ‘Housing Allowance’ Over N15b Corruption Claim

    Taofeek Arapaja, deputy national chairman (south) of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has returned the sum of N36,000,000 which he said was given to him as housing loan.

    The return of the money, OYOINSIGHT.COM understands, comes on the heels of allegation of N15,000,000,000 financial misappropriation leveled against the leadership of the party.

    The former deputy governor said the allegation made him browse through his alerts and he discovered the transfer of the sum to his UBA account.

    This newspaper learnt that the return of the money was in furtherance of the planned removal of Iyorchia Ayu.

    Arapaja is loyal to both Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
