Ahead of the 2019 general elections, Governor Abiola Ajimobi today met with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
At the meeting which held at the Oke-Ado, Ibadan party secretariat, Ajimobi was said to have advised the party leaders to ensure they bring back to the party some members who left the party during the last troubled congress.
Sources at the meeting told OYO INSIGHT that the meeting may not be unconnected with ways to perfect plans as the direct method of primaries, adopted in the just concluded governorship primaries of the APC in Osun, may be adopted in the 2019 elections.
At the meeting were the deputy governor, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, former governor Adebayo Alao-Ajala, House Of Representatives members loyal to the governor which included Hon. Akeem Adeyemi, Hon. Olusegun Odebunmi and members of the state executive council.
