The Executive Chairman, Irorun-Ni Charitable Foundation, ICF, Nigeria, Ambassador Shakirullah Jimoh-Orankan, members of the Board of Trustees, Zonal and local government coordinators of ICF have paid a courtesy visit to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade at his palatial palace in Oyo town.
The visit by the Islamic Charitable Foundation was to felicitate the monarch on his ascension to the throne of his forebears and to formally introduce the activities, projects and achievements of the foundation to the Imperial Majesty.
Leading the delegation on behalf of Ambassador Shakirullah Jimoh-Orankan, the Vice Chairman 1, Sheikh Mansur Abdusalam-Murtadho used the opportunity of the courtesy visit to highlight some landmark projects of the ICF to the monarch.
Ambassador Jimoh-Orankan, who is also the Aare Alaranse Adinni of Oyo State explained that the Irorun-Ni Charitable Foundation, ICF, Nigeria has inaugurated human-centred projects aimed at uplifting economic and spiritual life of humanity and bringing succour to the needy.
“Irorun-Ni Charitable Foundation, ICF, Nigeria has provided hygienic water Boreholes and deep dug Wells, taken care of the widows and the less privileged, constructed many schools including School of Science at Iroko, Oyo, distributed learning materials to Islamic schools across the state”, Orankan listed.
According to him, “the ICF was at the palace to gain from global exposure and experience of the Alaafin, foster mutual relationship and solicit royal mentorship for the benefit of humanity”.
The ICF Executive Chairman also listed the construction of Mosques and Islamic centres, periodic distribution of handful palliative packages to thousands of households across zones in Oyo state as some benevolent programmes of the foundation.
Ambassador Jimoh-Orankan equally hinted that the Irorun-Ni Charitable Foundation, ICF, Nigeria is planning to commission an Orphanage in Oyo, as construction of University by the foundation is in top gear.
The ICF Vice Chairman II representing Oyo Zone, Alhaji Ibrahim Alamalyakeen-Agboluaje expressed optimism that the courtesy visit to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade would be productive to further the course of generous humanitarian services of the Irorun-Ni Charitable Foundation.
In his Royal remarks, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, who was feasibly happy to receive the ICF delegation to the palace, acknowledged the numerous compassionate impacts of Irorun-Ni Charitable Foundation projects, aimed at poverty alleviation and empowerment for the less privileged in the society.
Oba Owoade said “I am well aware of your foundation’s contributions to uplift humanity; I encourage you to continue in your good works”.
Among the ICF delegation on the courtesy visit are the ICF National Treasurer, Dr Musa Alongbija, Sheikh Habeebullahi Yerdho, Mudeer Abdulhakeem Ajiginni, Sheikh Murtadha Ahmada-Tijani, Dr Dodo and Alh Daud Iganna.
