Fuji musician and icon who many believe to have created fuji music, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, was a brilliant and talented musician whose excellence made fuji music popular.
He used his music to pass messages to politicians and others in the society to do good and eschew evil to make the world a better place.
Barry Wonder as he was popularly called was loved by many and his work spoke for him long after he dies to the extent that he was awarded a national honour years after his death.
I urge the Oyo state government under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde to immortalize Ayinde Barrister for his contributions to the development of the nation through messages that are meant to uplift the society and for being a source of pride to the state.
