Former commissioner for information, tourism and culture in Oyo State, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, has sent a word of gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for allowing him work with him in the last two years.
Olatubosun, a former council chairman, in a statement made available to OYOINSIGHT.COM, said he enjoyed every bit of his time as commissioner, adding that he has no regret working him.
This newspaper had reported yesterday how Makinde, after the weekly Excos meeting, asked Olatubosun and 16 other commissioners, including the chief of staff, Oloye Bisi Ilaka, to go home after two years in office.
“Apart from learning new things,” the former council boss explained, “I got to know the workings of being the image maker of a chief executive of a state. It was a pleasure working with a governor who has a lot to offer the state.
”While I thank him for considering me worthy when I was nominated, I want to urge the people of the state to continue to support him,” he said.
