The Ibadan Descendants Union, an association of Ibadan Indigenes who are staff of The College of Education, Lanlate, felicitates the Provost, Dr. Joseph Olusegun Adeagbo, on the occasion of his birthday, today October 1, 2020.
Adeagbo, an Ibadan indigene, and the association’s Grand Patron, IDU noted, is a pathfinder, goalgetter and visionary leader, whose commitment to the advancement of The College of Education, Lanlate, particularly his indelible efforts at achieving autonomy for the College, will never be forgotten.
The Ibadan Descendants Union (IDU), in a release signed by the Chairman, Mr. Waheed Lameed, and Secretary, Mr. Damola Adeoye, charged Dr. Adeagbo, to use the occasion of his birthday, to rededicate himself to excellence, worthy causes and improved staff welfare, assuring him that history will definitely accord him a pride of place, whenever the script of The College of Education, Lanlate is flipped.
“Dr. Adeagbo’s zeal for the successful completion of whatever assignment he’s involved in, can never be faulted. He, without doubt, is a leader one can learn passion, commitment and dedication from,” IDU avers.
Adeagbo, a Chief Lecturer in Economics, is a consumate professional and erudite administrator, whose membership cuts across many professional institutes, and his passionate rendition and involvement in community services has seen him recognised by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), the parent body of all Ibadan indigenes’ clubs and societies.
IDU wishes Dr. Adeagbo more years in good health, abundant wealth, prosperity, and impact, not only to his immediate community, but also to Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
