A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Engr. Idris Adeoye, has sent words of congratulations to a former deputy governor of the state, Engr. Raufu Olaniyan, as he celebrates his birthday.
Olaniyan, also of the APC, had celebrated his birthday on Sunday.
Adeoye, in a congratulatory message personally signed, described the Igboho-born retired permanent secretary as a dependable politician who can be relied upon.
”Sir, as you celebrate your birthday, I want to join your admirers to wish you a happy celebration. For afar, we saw as an Omoluabi. Working with you in the last general election presents you as a rare politician. You don’t profess what you aren’t. Whatever you believe in, you support it to the fullest.
“Your kind are not common in politics. Indirectly, I studied you and I can say anybody who has you with him can go home to sleep without of any bad thing. You showed uncommon leadership. I fell in love with you through that short period of time we gathered to campaign for the emergence of our party’s candidates in the 2023 elections.
“As you go further in life sir, I pray the almighty Allah continues to bless you richly. Congratulations sir,” Adeoye added.
