A Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the immediate past treasurer for ICAN,
Chief Oyemolu Akinsilure has joined the list of donors for Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora.
The ICAN Council Member donated textbooks to aid teaching and learning in the department of Accountancy, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora.
According to Chief Oye Akinsilure, ” I am pleased to donate books to your College for the use of students, in pursuing both their academic and professional career.
“It is my sincere hope that the books would be maximally utilized by both staff and students.”
A total number of fourteen (14) textbooks were donated. Some of the titles are Management information,
Advanced Audit and Assurance, Corporate Strategic Management and Ethics, Business Law, Corporate Reporting and Case Study.
Others are Financial Accounting, Taxation, Performance Management, Public Sector Accounting and Finance and a host of others.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Rector, the Bursar, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Alhaji Sarafa Agbogun thanked the donor for the kind gesture.
He promised that the books would be judiciously used.
It would be recalled that the Ibadan and District Society of the Chartered Institute of Accountants (ICAN) recently donated books to Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora.
