Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes on Monday paid homage to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin in continuation of the 2024 Ibadan Cultural Festival.
Chairman of the 2024 Ibadan Cultural Festival, Balogun Gaphar Ojetola who led members of the 2024 Ibadan Week planning committee said the visit was necessary to receive the blessings of the Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Ojetola who outlined all the activities of the Ibadan Festival said “we are here to receive your blessing before we can proceed with other activities of Ibadan Week.

He reiterated that the Festival aimed at showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Ibadanland through various events including talents hunt, beauty pageants and other cultural displays.
