A House of Representatives aspirant aiming to represent Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Hon Ibraheem Olayode Iyiola, has, yesterday, submitted his Expression of Interest/Nomination Forms to the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress at ICC, Abuja.
It would be recalled that Hon Iyiola was the first House of Representatives aspirant from Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency to obtain the forms less than two weeks ago.
Hon Ibraheem Iyiola faced no hurdles as he submitted his forms without hitches, having met all the conditions stipulated by the National Secretariat of the APC on the submission of the forms. Speaking to journalists after the submission in response to a question as to how he was able to return the forms for submission less than two weeks after he obtained them, especially with the stringent conditions aspirants must meet before submitting the forms, Hon Ibraheem Iyiola stated that he could only show the people of his federal constituency how serious he was in representing them by the promptness with which he went about fulfilling the conditions attached to his aspiration.
His words, “I can’t afford to sit back and relax while there are duties to perform as preconditions to the service to my people I have offered myself for. The promptness with which I have obtained the forms and return same within a short time is an indication of how highly esteemed my constituents are to me. They’re the reason I am doing this and it’s a must that I get up and doing to let them into a glimpse of what to expect from me representing them when they have eventually cast their votes to send me on an errand of quality representation to Abuja.”
Hon Iyiola reiterated his resolve to give his people the best legislative representation ever in the areas of impactful bills he intended to sponsor and co-sponsor, invaluable empowerments on education, health and enterpreneurship to youths, women and old persons as well as making environments in his federal constituency habitable and comfortable for the people.
