No local government in Oyo State receives less than 100 million naira monthly from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC), an analysis by BudgIT, seen by OYOINSIGHT.COM, has revealed.
This analysis shows that some local government areas receive over 500 million naira monthly, a development that starkly contrasts with the subpar performance of the leadership of these local government areas who hide under the guise of paucity of funds for their inability to effectively govern their constituents.
This newspaper had exclusively reported how Oyo East LGA begged influential individuals to donate so as to be able to renovate the council secretariat complex.
