35-year Old Club GQ Owner, Banik, Agunbiade Make Osun Commissioner List

OYOINSIGHT.COM can authoritatively report that proprietor of one of Ibadan’s popular night clubs, Gentlemen’s Quarters, GQ, Mr. Yemi Lawal, is on the list of commissioner-nominees to be sent to the Osun State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation by Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun.
This is coming 10 months after the assumption of office of Oyeyola.
Lawal, who hails from Apomu in Isokan local government, was running mate to Sen. Iyiola Omisore of the Social Democratic Party, SDP. SDP, OYOINSIGHT.COM recalls, had entered into an alliance with the All Progressives Congress, APC, during the supplementary election which produced Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
GG, as the club is popularly known, is owned by Lawal who was said to have been born on 3rd June, 1984.
Apart from Lawal, sources who confided in OYOINSIGHT.COM said that Ibadan-based duo of Prince Bayo Adeleke and Hon. Nathaniel Agunbiade also made the list.
Adeleke is the CEO of Banik Digital World, said to be the first digital photography studio in Ibadan, while Agunbiade, a lawyer, represented Obokun/Oriade federal constituency between 2011 and 2015.
Others who are said to have made the list included Femi Akande, Idowu Korede, Bola Oyebamiji, Yinusa Olalekan, Sola Ogunfolaju, Rihanat Olaboopo, Jamiu Olawumi, Folorunso Oladoyin, Segun Olanibi, Remi Omowaiye, Tunde Olawale, Bisi Obawale, Bode Olanipekun, Jare Adebisi, Bayo Adeleke, Ibitoye Adeniran, Sola Oladepo, Akintunde Adegboye, Rasaq Adeosun, Amos Akindiya, Mumini Olabamiji and Dayo Babaranti.
