The news of our party chairman,Honourable Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu’s demise has left me devastated, said Idris Babatunde Lapade, who is vying to contest the bye-election in Ibadan North federal constituency.
According to Lapido, as he is fondly called, “he was a great man. I worked with him when he was commissioner for local government and I was Ibadan North local government chairman, it’s a really sad day.
“To his family and loved ones, I offer my heartfelt condolences and unwavering support. May they find comfort in the knowledge that his influence and impact will forever be remembered within our party and beyond.
“To our party members. It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved party chairman Bar. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu. His leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our cause has left an indelible mark on our party and the ideals we stand for.
