He Had Full Knowledge Of Law Making — Orangun Of Oke-Ila Mourns Ajimobi

The Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin has commiserated with the family of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi.

OYOINSIGHT.COM reports that Ajimobi died in Lagos on Thursday after a brief illness.

The monarch, in a statement he signed himself, described Ajimobi as a man who had a full knowledge of the process of law making.

He added that Ajimobi distinguished himself during his tenure as a Senator representing Oyo South senatorial district.

“A cerebral, amiable , resourceful, diligent , Law maker , in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (2003-2007). A Senator with full knowledge of law making; his passion for the rules of the Senate and the 1999 Constitution was remarkable,” the monarch wrote.

He added,”You indeed distinguished yourself on the floor of the Senate and outside of the National Assembly. Senator Ajimobi, may your soul rest in perfect peace. My condolences to his only friend and the best, Dr(Mrs) Florence Ajimobi , his lovely children and the Ajimobi dynasty of Ibadanland.”
