Group Drums Support For Ojoawo’s Aspiration

Gbobaniyi, a socio-political and cultural group in the four local government areas in Oyo federal constituency, rising from its general meeting during the week has thrown its support behind the aspiration of a former chairman of Oyo West local government, Hon Adesoji Richard Ojoawo.

Ojoawo is a chieftain of newly formed African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Ojoawo, who is popularly known as Obama West, is aspiring to represent Oyo East / Oyo West state constituency in the forthcoming general election.

In a statement sent to OYO INSIGHT, the group hinged its conviction on the enviable track records while at the helms of affairs at the local government which spanned across every fabrics of the council area ranging from road construction, building of schools, agriculture, empowerment programmes, construction of maternities etc and most of it all his down-to-earth nature and closeness to the people.

Jointly signed by its chairman, Mr Lukuman Aata and the secretary, Hon Dele Ogungbile, the statement enjoined all and sundry to support the aspirant in his quest to bring quality representation and further development with his wealth of experience and political connection to the area.
