Alh. AbdulRasaq AbdulGaneey Adekunle (Mr. GRA) MCA, arpa., a distinguished advocate and seasoned grassroots politician has officially declared his candidacy for the Federal House of Representatives on Thursday 13 August, 2024 under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr GRA, who said he has the required experience as he had held several leadership positions in the past and currently, is the National President of the Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD) nationwide.
“With a deep-rooted commitment to serving the good people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representative, I aim to bring positive changes and represent the voices of the good people of Ibadan North at the national level,” he said.
Mr. GRA is known for his tireless dedication to social issues and community development. He has spent over a decade working on the ground, engaging with residents of his constituency to understand their needs and aspirations. His extensive experience in grassroots organizing has earned him a reputation as a reliable and relatable leader who listens first and acts second.
He believes and always emphasizes his vision for a better future, highlighting key issues such as education reform, healthcare access, economic growth, youths’ engagement as he had done in TNM Media Academy, where he acts as the provost. He had bred and nurtured media professionals; many of whom are now acting in the managerial capacity. His utmost focus is to make laws that will translate to inclusive policies that will uplift all and sundry and provide equal opportunities for all. His message of unity and empowerment resonates deeply with constituents, many of whom have already rallied behind his candidacy.
As a dedicated politician, a professional media practitioner and a passionate advocate for good representation with a strong foundation of community support and a proven track record of advocacy, “ I declare my intention to be the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the upcoming by-election into Federal House of Representative in other to represent the mandate of the people of his constituency.”
