The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led by former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has been dissolved by the Victor Giadom led faction of the party.
This was announced by Bashir Ahmad, the Presidential Aide on New Media.
Ahmad also stated that the decision to dissolve the Ajimobi-led NWC was based on the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari.
“The National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC has been dissolved, the decision has just been taken at the ongoing Party’s NEC Meeting.
“Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved,” Ahmad wrote in a tweet.
An announcement by President Muhammdu Buhari yesterday indicated that the Victor Giadom led faction of the party is enjoying his support.
