Gbajabiamila Elevates 34-year Old Political Adviser To Deputy CoS Position

In a major reorganization of his team, the speaker of the house of representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has appointed elevated Mr. Olanrewaju Smart to a deputy chief of staff position.

Smart, OYOINSIGHT.COM understands, was his special adviser on political matters until the new appointment.

The Ibadan-born former president of the Lead City University, LCU, students representatives council, was Gbajabiamila’s research and media assistant during his previous positions as house minority and later majority leader respectively.

Having spent his entire post-graduate life in the National Assembly, the 34-year old comes with top notch experience of the nuances of Nigeria’s federal parliament.

Smart was nominated by U.S embassy in Nigeria as an observer of America’s 2014 mid term parliamentary elections in North Carolina, Kansas and New Hamsphire. He is an alumni of the United States international visitor leadership program, Washington DC.

He is an associate member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, NIPR.
