The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has named the Chairman/CEO of Fresh FM, Dr. Olayinka Joel Ayefele, as its Ambassador.
This announcement came as the 2019 elections approach.
The ambassadorial conferment was confirmed based on Ayefele’s roles in leading people in communication, media entrepreneurship, entertainment, and other social works.
With this feat, Ayefele is expected to use his strong, integrity-based social influence to assist INEC in making a success of the coming 2019 elections and future electoral activities.
Specifically, Ayefele, who is noted for his persuasive skills and managerial acumen, is expected to use his enigmatic personality and good office to guide Nigerians in the onerous civic duty of choosing political office holders in peaceful, credible, free and fair elections in 2019.
The Ambassadorial status was conferred on the gospel musician by Mrs. Lakunuya Dorothy Bello, Deputy Director, Civil Society Division, Voter Education and Publicity Department, INEC headquarters, Abuja.
