Former senate leader and 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Senator Teslim Folarin, lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido federal, Engr. Remi Oseni; State Women Leader for Oyo APC, Alhaja Tinu Adigun; and other prominent personalities on Sunday attended Fidau prayers for Alhaji Abdul-Mumeen Adewale Alao.
The Fidau prayers, which was jointly organised by the family and committee of friends took place at Lekan Salami Stadium.
Leading the Fidau, Islamic clerics: Sheik Sherifdeen Oniwasi, Sheik Eleshinmeta, Sheik (Dr.) Sulayman Alagunfon, Sheik Mubarak Ajimobi and Imam Saheed Mogana offered prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased as well as members of the Adewale family.
The event drew an array of personalities and large turnout of guests. Hon. Akeem Okedina represented Hon. Remi Oseni.

The committee of friends in their tribute said Alhaji Abdul-Mumeen alias Wale Adedibu was indeed a great man who believed in love and unity.
“He’ll be sorely missed by us. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and Grant him Al-Janatul Firdaus” said the committee.
Late Wale Adedibu died at age 63 and survived by wives, children and grandchildren.
