The senator representing Oyo Central senatorial district, Oloye Teslim Folarin, has mourned the passage of Kehinde Ayoola.
Ayoola, who was, until his death, commissioner for environment and natural resources, died in the early hours of yesterday.
Folarin described the deceased, who is one of his constituents, as a refined politician and one of the best brains in the ate.
In a series of tweet, Folarin said the death of Ayoola was a big blow to the ancient town of Oyo, Oyo state and the nation at large.
“We cannot question the will of the Almighty God besides the fact that death is a necessary end that must come when it shall, but Hon. Ayoola’s death at this time is akin to one death that is more than a thousand fell in a pogrom.”
The former Senate Leader, however, urged the bereaved families, the government and people of Oyo State to take solace in the fact that Hon. Ayoola left an enviable legacy of professionalism, excellent service delivery and integrity anyone will be proud of.
