He said it is sad that the former governor who would have clocked 71 years this year answered the call of his creator unexpectedly on the 25th of June 2020 .

Dr Akinosun, a grassroot politician and educationist noted that though late Isiaka Ajimobi is not alive to celebrate with family, friends, business and political associates, his legacies, companionship and sense of humor has never faded from the memories of the people.

The APC chieftain who described death as sacrosanct, explained that the death of the two-term governor of Oyo state and one time senator of the federal republic came at a time when he should be enjoining his labour with family

He described late Abiola Ajimobi as a man of many parts and callings, a successful politician, business man, administrator and father.

He admonished the family to take solace in the fact that late senator Ajimobi had contributed his own part during his sojourn on earth and his name cannot be forgotten in the history of the state and Nigeria in general.

Dr Akinosun said “God knew him before he was born and still made him to hold positions held by grace. God never make mistakes”

While lunching souvenirs that he produced for the general public in remembrance of Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, Fola Akinosun prayed that late Ajimobi will continue to rest in perfect peace and that God should continue to uphold the family he left behind.
