Five days after his 80th birthday, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has welcomed his third set of twins.
This is coming 8 months after the arrival of two sets of twins by two of his Oloris. Two days after each other, in February 2018, both Olori Memumat and Badirat has delivered sets of twins, two boys and two girls respectively.
Olori Aanu was delivered of the twins, a boy and a girl, in Oyo while the monarch and the other queens were at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, venue of the book launch in honour of the monarch’s birthday.
Not knowing that another set of twins had arrived, Governor Abiola Ajimobi had, while eulogising the monarch, said that at 80, Oba Adeyemi is still productive so much that he produced two sets of twins through his queens recently.
Before now, Alaafin had had a set of twins and a set of triplets.
