The lawmaker representing Oyo South senatorial district, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai has described the gruesome murder of a Saki-born academician, Engr. Muftau Olayemi as a shocking one.
Engr. Muftau was allegedly murdered at Abeokuta,Ogun State, on 17th day of November,2020.
He was until his death a promising young man who scored firsts in all his academic pursuits.
He was the Head of Electrical and Electronic Department of Adegbenro ICT Polythechnic Itori Ogun State and was also an executive member of Nigeria Society of Engineers Ogun State Chapter.
He was allegedly murdered on his way home from campus where the criminals had laid ambush of him.
While commiserating with his immediate family and the people of Saki, the Senator calls on the government of Ogun State under the able leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun to set the law in motion in order to bring the perpetrators of this dastard act to book.
