Family, Friends Remember Late Oyo Commissioner One Year After

One year after the death of Honourable Fatai Olanrewaju Abimbola popularly known as Abogun, friends and family converged to remember and pray for the late former Commissioner under the late Ajimobi led APC administration.

The remembrance ceremony which includes the Muslim Fidau prayer by Imams had in attendance families and various relatives.

The late commissioner is remembered for his kind heartedness and political experience as relatives described him to be a formidable politician, known for his remarkable empathy and compassion.

He left behind an indispensable records of Sterling achievements in Politics, philanthropy, business and activism. He served as Honorable Commissioner in the erstwhile Administration of Oyo state.

Recalled that, Honourable Abogun reportedly died on July 11, 2020, shortly after the death of his Boss, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

He was remembered by his wife, Mrs. Nurat Abimbola, his children; Dr. Rilwan Abimbola, Miss Tejumola Abimbola, Cadet ASP Farouk Abimbola, Khalid Abimbola Tinuola Abimbola and Teniola Abimbola and other Family and friends

Dignitaries at the event include, Former Member House of Representatives Hon. Saheed Fijabi, Hon. Azeez Adeoye, Former Commissioner for Water Resources Hon. Adefusi, Former Caretaker Chairman Ibadan Northwest/Southwest
And some APC leaders in Oyo State.
