The family of slain federal lawmaker, Hon. Temitope Olatoye, representing Lagelu/Akinyele in the House of Representatives, has picked May 3, 2019 for the burial arrangement.
The burial programme, OYO INSIGHT was told, will begin on April 28, 2019.
It is however unsure if the late lawmaker would be buried at home or his native Alape village in Lagelu local government area of Ibadan.
In a report made available to The PUNCH, the burial date for the deceased was announced by Mr. Dotun Olatoye on the sidelines of a press conference organised by the family on Sunday, 17th March, 2019.
Recall that the family had urged the government and the security agents to ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous crime were brought to book as investigation still ongoing on the root and immediate causes of his death. As some suspected hoodlum involved in his killing have been arrested for interrogation.
The family also debunked rumour perpetrated on some section of social media on Olatoye’s former landlord describing it as fake news that should not be taken serious .
Sugar was killed by unknown gunmen during the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the Lalupon area of Lagelu Local Government area of the state.
