As the Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, football club, plays its opening game in the 2029/2020 Nigeria National League, NNL season, commissioner of youths and sports, Mr. Seun Fakorede, has disclosed that everything would be done to ensure that the club and others excel in the new season.
3SC and Crown FC of Ogbomoso are jostling for promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Fakorede, who disclosed that funds have been released to the two clubs representing the state in the NNL, said that no stone would be left unturned in a bid to change the fortune of 3SC and other club sides.
According to him, “At every home game of 3SC, there will be hairman of the day. So when the club hosts Go Round FC this Sunday, a philanthropist and Otun Apesin of Ibadan Land, Engr. Dotun Sanusi, will chair the match.”
This is just as he revealed that “there will be an appreciative gesture for those that have contributed to the club in order to motivate others in committing their time and resources to the progress of the team.”
He added that, “there will also be an award for most valuable players in every home game,” adding that “fans should keep their ticket as there would be raffle draw after every home game.”
