‘Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, yesterday, sent names of commisioner-nominees to the state assembly for screening and confirmation, OYOINSIGHT.COM can report.
Though it was supposed to be 17 names, the governor, who was out of the country, sent 7 names, out of which two are women, multiple sources in the know of happenings told this newspaper early Wednesday morning.
OYOINSIGHT.COM has not been able to talk to the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Olanrewaju, for confirmation as at the time of filing this story.
