Two-term former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olusegun Olaleye, has concluded plans to dump the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He was briefly in PDP before he opted for ADC.
Sources who hinted OYOINSIGHT.COM said that Radical, as the former president of the University of Ibadan, UI, students Union is known, would be received at an event billed for Wednesday, 26th February, 2020 at Yemetu headquarters of the party in Ibadan North.
Radical, who was also a former president of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, represented Ibadan North constituency 2 between 2011 and 2019. Before he joined the ADC, he was elected on the platform of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in 2011 and later All Progressives Congress, APC, In 2015.
Confirming the development to OYOINSIGHT.COM, Radical, who lost his third term reelection bid in the 2019 election, said he was ‘moved by the achievements of the incumbent administration being marshaled by Governor Seyi Makinde.”
“I am grateful to all the coalition leadership, especially Sen. Monsurat Sunmonu, who has proven to be a good mother to me,” added Radical who was part of those who were instrumental to the process that produced Makinde as the coalition candidate in last year’s election.
