OYOINSIGHT.COM can authoritatively report that the media outfit, in a bid to make its television and three radio stations the darling of viewers and listeners, has recruited some talented broadcasters from various radio stations in the state, though on contact basis.
Veteran broadcaster, Mr. Wale Rufai, will be returning from Cultural Centre where he was redeployed to by the immediate past administration.
Though the content of the contractual agreement is yet to be made public, this newspaper learnt that Mr. Oriyomi Hamzat, who started with BCOS before leaving for Petals FM and now 32 FM; and others yet to be made public, would become prominent faces on BCOS TV screen. It was, however, understood that they would shuttle between their workplaces and BCOS.
They are expected to start work in October 2019.
Veteran broadcaster and chairman of BCOS, Prince Dotun Oyelade, who confirmed the development to OYOINSIGHT.COM, “BCOS is poised to fully cover the nooks and crannies of Oyo State as Governor Seyi Makinde is set to reposition the 43 year old station. To start with, the Oluyole, Alaga and Ajilete FM stations will have their signals received strongly in all parts of the state from next month while the TV arm will receive similar treatment soon.
