A former speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olagunju Ojo, has joined others to wish Muslims a fruitful celebration as they mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
Ojo, who represented Orire state constituency twice, was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Orire federal constituency seat in the 2019 election.

As today marks another year celebrations, we thank Almighty Allah, the most merciful and benevolent for making us to be alive and witness the festivals despite all odds.
My sincere felicitations to all our Traditional rulers, political office holders, market women and men, our youths and all the electorates.
As Muslims across the World gathered at Mount Arafat yesterday to supplicate to Almighty Allah which was the Main and Major event that preceded the Festival, participation in this religious rite has been limited, due to COVID-19 and Delta wave which were the main reasons why Nigerians pilgrims couldn’t make it this year, but let us take solace in Almighty Allah who knows better. And as believers no one can do anything without His knowledge as Allah’s time is the best.
With the global recession now, I urge us to be moderate in all things during this festive period. And in the same vein, let us comply with the COVID-19 and Delta variant wave rules and regulations and be vigilant in our environment as we all aware of the security situation of our State and the country as a whole. I pray for Allah’s protection on every one of us.
